1. Information we collect
a) Information you provide directly – when you: sign up for our mailing list or newsletter (name and email address); complete a quiz (name, email address, answers); purchase a course or resource through Payhip or Gumroad (name, email address, payment confirmation); join the Skool community (profile details, posts, comments, course progress); contact us by email or through website forms.
b) Information collected automatically – IP address, browser type, device information, and usage data (pages visited, time spent, links clicked).
c) Information from third parties – limited engagement data from Meta (Facebook or Instagram), Substack, or Bluesky (likes, comments, follower information). Your use of those platforms is governed by their own privacy policies.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to provide quiz results, courses, and digital resources; process and deliver purchases made through Payhip or Gumroad; send newsletters and updates (via MailPoet or Substack); manage Skool community access and participation; analyse site and quiz use to improve our content and services; and run advertising campaigns on Meta and other platforms.
3. Legal bases for processing (UK GDPR)
We process personal data under these legal bases: Consent – when you sign up for newsletters or marketing communications; Contract – when you purchase or access a course or resource; Legitimate interest – when we analyse usage or improve our services. You can withdraw consent or opt out of marketing at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” in an email or contacting us directly.
4. How we share your information
We only share data with trusted third-party processors who support our operations: ScoreApp (quiz delivery and results); Payhip (course sales and payment processing); Gumroad (course sales and payment processing); Skool (course and community hosting); MailPoet (mailing list and email delivery); Substack (newsletter publishing); Meta (advertising and engagement tracking); Google Site Kit (analytics via Google Analytics); and Fasthosts (website hosting). We never store or process payment card information on our servers. All transactions are handled securely by Payhip or Gumroad. Some providers may process data outside the UK (for example, in the United States). Where this happens, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses to ensure equivalent protection.
5. Cookies and tracking
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for core functionality, analytics (via Google Analytics), and advertising or engagement tracking (e.g. Meta Pixel). You can manage or disable cookies in your browser settings. Essential cookies cannot be switched off, as they are required for the site to function properly.
6. Data retention
We keep your information only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected: quiz and mailing list data until you unsubscribe or request deletion; Skool accounts until you delete your account or request removal; Payhip and Gumroad purchase records as required by UK tax and accounting law; Substack and MailPoet subscriptions under each platform’s retention policy; and contact form entries only as long as needed to respond.

You have the right to access a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct inaccurate data, ask us to delete your data, withdraw consent for marketing, and complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you believe your data has been handled improperly.
